Here’s the third video installment of our set at the Green Turtle. It’s a cover of Hurt, by Nine Inch Nails. Unfortunately, the beginning of the song wasn’t caught by the video so it starts off in the second verse.

Here’s another one I’m currently working on with a break-beat that makes it sound like it’s skippin. I plan on adding some guitar and vocals and other sounds to this later on…stay tuned.

Here’s a funky one that’s still brewing. I used the Alesis QS6 for all the sounds on the track and then Matthew Hundley laid down some funky guitar chops over it. This track and Fast Pace are going to be included on the new album I hope to put together by the end of the summer.

Here’s a slight change of pace with Amber Scott covering Angel from Montgomery, an old country song written by John Prine in 1971. Amber and myself recorded this live just the other night because Amber felt like singing again after all these years. This is a song we always played well together. Matthew Hundley added some sweet guitar licks that put it all together.

This is a live one that features David Jones on bass, Neil Jones on drums and Jeremy Scott on keyboards. A nice father and son improvisational moment.

Adding to the electronic styles for this month, this one was inspired by the fast pace work environment I’ve  been experiencing lately.  I used my Alesis Q6.1 for all the sounds and mixed it down with the Fostex recorder.  This will be the first of many more mixes to come since recording is coming a little easier these days.  Enjoy.
